There are stoping points and rest benches with beautiful views of the lake. There are also quite a few spots to jump in the water for a swim if you desire! Everyone should bring water on this hike and if you plan on jumping in the water at the lake bring a towel! In the spring keep an eye out for the illusive pink lady’s slipper.
