Blue Ridge Lake Fishing

The 3,290-acre Blue Ridge reservoir located on the Toccoa River is a superb place to cast a line in. Some of the best trout fishing happens around the Blue Ridge dam (which creates the lake). You can also catch a variety of other fish in Lake Blue Ridge, including Walleye, Bluegill, Smallmouth bass, White bass, and Yellow perch. Fish from the shores, or boat out into the lake using a variety of access points. You can access Lake Blue Ridge for fishing at the day-use area & boat ramp, Morganton Point Recreation Area, Lakewood landing boat ramp, and the Lake Blue Ridge Marina.
