Things to do while renting North Georgia Cabins

Reviewing the Best Time to See a Bear While Renting a Cabin

Bears are marvelous creatures that animals that are often found throughout the Blue Ridge Mountains in northern Georgia. There are many people that are interested in the best time to see a bear while renting a cabin in this area. It should be noted, that unless hunting, bears should be avoided and left in their natural habitat.

The best time to see a bear while renting a cabin is in the fall and early winter, from September through November.  Many people wish to view the bears from their cabins, as many bears do come close to the cabins, scrounging for food. Cabin resorts, such as Georgia Mountain Cabin Rentals, have cabins that are nestled far enough in the woods that bears may be present.

Typically, there is one bear per square mile available throughout the Blue Mountain region. This means that there are bears that are sure to be present throughout the cabin areas. The bears will often be seen at any time of the day or night during these months, as this is when they are at their prime. The hot summer months will not warrant bears as much, as they prefer to keep cool. In rare instances, however, the best time to see a bear while renting a cabin in the summer is when they are catching fish in the rivers and streams and cooling off in the water. Simply put, the best time to see a bear while renting a cabin is when the bear is in their natural elements.
